Mail Art is the creative process by which it is used as a means of transmitting the traditional postal service and, therefore, postcards, envelopes, stamps and postmarks are some of the medium on which is possible expression of this art. The artists mainly use techniques such as collages, painting, drawing, photos, writing, textil, recycle art, origami, digital art etc.
"Art in the Mail" is my personal project of Mail Art, I will create ArtWorks in small format, where painting, drawing and collage predominate, they are sent to different artists and galleries throughout the world as to future events related to the art movement in question.

7# DIANE KEYS (USA: Elgin, IL)

"..."; Collage, Ink and Coffee on card; 11.3x14.5cm; 2011

This is the second piece that i received from iuoma  member Diane Keys, she is a great collagist artist, her works sometimes remind me one of my favorite artists and father of collage, Kurt Schwitters (1887-1948) and also others like Rauschenberg (1925-2008) comes to my mind, Diane loves "trash" and i like it too, in answer to this piece i sent also to her some "trash" art, she knows what im talking about :)

6# JON FOSTER (USA: Winston Salem, NC)

"..."; Collage and tape transfer on paper; 12x16.5cm; 2011
What I realized so far, is that in United States there are many Mail Art activists, to confirm this assumption, due to the fact that the iuoma platform has many, Jon Foster is one of them, and this is the work that he sent me, Jon pieces are very peculiar, in their collages he creates multiple tape layers, besides being an excellent work protector,  creates also an extraordinary artistic effect, thanks Jon.
